Hello All. New member here. Doing some touch up of the paint on the outdrive. There are 6 studs with nylon locking nuts. 5 have washers and the bottom right has a grounding plate screwed to the outdrive with a torx screw. Anybody know what this grounding plate does? I wanted to check under the plate for chipped paint and corrosion. Started unscrewing torx and it snapped off. Do I need to be concerned? Any info would be appreciated.
