Hey I'm new to boat motors in general, what I have going on here is on this motor I either have forward or reverse, not both at the same time. I've tried adjusting the linkage and the coupler rod every which way and it's just not quite enough to get forward and reverse. Is my next step to take the propeller assembly off and check the gears or is there anything else. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you
