I'm new
And I have a 1975 Johnson 50. Rebuilt recently, compression 150/150. I'm pretty sure the carburetors are from a 55 hp because of the number on the bottom the float bowl. At idle the timing is set at 8 deg before top dead . Do you think the mismatch is gonna mess with the timing. The book calls for 3 deg. BT. It cuts off when I put it in gear. Thoughts?
