Hello, Im new to the forum. I recently baught a 1989 evinrude 48 spl. it has no trim controls on the controls but it does have a lever on the drivers side of the motor with a pick showing up/down trim and also has an electric motor and hydraulid tuched into the engine moiunting bracket. I powered up the unit, engine cranks but the lever for the trim doesnt do anything. Can someone please tell me how this setup works. And if its actually a power trim or assist or ??
