Hello! Was hoping to see if anybody can help me with my Suzuki Boat Engine. This weekend I decided to start it up, put a water hose in the water intake and a water fin to let water into it.
Here is where the problem is, engine started perfectly, its peeing well, and no unusual noise. When accelerating slowly, engine is working perfectly, BUT if accelerating fast (meaning pushing the accelerator lever up fast) the engine makes a
woooOOOOOooooooo WwoooooooOOOOOOoooooo woooooOOOOOOOooooooo noise.
Like its winding up and down up and down when holding it in a fast speed.
But if I accelerate slowly, this sound does not come up, even in the fast speed.
Has anybody come across this issue, and if so what was the solution/problem? Never had this before and want to know what to start looking into before I start paying for somebody else to look at it.
I had this engine for 3 years now and have maintaining it with visits to a repair shop. This is the first time I have come across this issue.
