Boat throttle broke

I have a 1988 Chapperal with a 4.3 omc engine and outdrive. We were on theake this weekend and luckily I was in neutral and went to put it in drive and the shifter broke rate in half. I tried looking up online but I am not having any luck finding a solution.
 
the OEM lever is probably NLA...and a 'recycled' one will likely suffer the same fate in short order....Probably fastest to just get another control box...
