Yamaha 70 control linkage identification help

Hello all.
First post here.
I downloaded my Yamaha service manual for my 2004 70 tlrc 2 stroke. I have 3 different linkages for timing throttle ECT. The manual gives me the identification and a Set length for a and b, nothing for the unidentified one.(arrow)
Any help in length or adjustment recommendation would be much appreciated.
II have it timed right at idle and fill throttle . It lines up with the marks on cdi box and I verified it with a light buts still runs unsatisfactory at idle for me.
Carbs just cleaned also. All 3 carbs linkage adjusted after install.

Thinking out loud here. Does it matter? As long as the retard timing and the advance timing can be set to specifications does it make a difference?

Your right, playing with it again today. No it doesn't matter as long as I reset the timing.
