MFS6B doesn't run round with low throttle

Hey together,
hope you can help me.

I have an older MFS6B Tohatsu Outboard-Engine and I have a bit a problem with it.
If I drive with the Engine on half or full power it run's really good, but if I try to go down to the lowest possible throttle the engine doesn't run round and going out. The Problem is not, that the lowest throttle is to low, because normally the engine should run good with this trottle.

For me it sound's a bit like a problem with the carburetor, but I am not sure.
Do you maybe anybody have some experience with this problem and can tell me what part is maybe the problem/how I can repair this thing?

It will be really happy to hear from you.
best regards

Thanks very much for your answer.
I have cleaned the carb a few times but this is not working.
Do you have an other idea where the problem can be?

I will be very happy to hear from you again.
Best regards

I dismantle the carb and use a special carb-cleaner.
In case that I life on a sailingboat my possibilities are not the biggest.

After a complete dismantle and 6 hour soak in real carb dip (available at auto parts houses), andthern blowing out all passages with generic carb spray, you probably have it clean. Otherwise, time to do it right. Of course, you could always buy a new carburetor...
