I am in the process of trouble shooting and now on to the oil pressure switch.
Can anyone advise the correct part number?
Also, Is it the 3 wire switch as in the photo (pink/black, gray, blue) and if I jump it to test , which wires should be jumped?

Thanks

pressure switxhes are usually 2 wire, pressure senders are 3 wire. Usually there is no "no oil pressure no start switch"

As I understand it, two wires are for the pressure gage signal, with the third to inhibit the electric fuel pump if oil pressure is not present (to prevent a fire if the gas leaks).

Three wire switches work off a 5volt reference and are for the ecm.... You cannot jump them out.... Fuel pumps are not driven by an oil pressure switch on a 555 controlled engine.

If you have a "no start" condition, the first thing you look at is the lanyard, then you look at the tach and see if it moves while cranking....
