My Johnson diagnostic software or cable stopped working and I am hopeful someone can assist me in diagnosing the issue or point me to a source in North America where I can purchase it and hopefully download a new copy?
 
You can ohm ohm out cable ....need a puter expert to see if can get software to work with Win10. I am in search of a old laptop with Win7 to reinstall my software on as know it does work with 7
 
What does ohm ohm out cable mean? Your best place to find an older laptop will be a pawn shop or Ebay. I no longer have my install disk but maybe I can extract it from the laptop it is on, I also need to confirm what operating system is on that laptop, I vaguely seem to remember a free w10 upgrade being offered by Microsoft.
 
I just checked the laptop and I upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 in 2018, my version of EV Diag is 4.2. I did not create a windows 7 back up and it appears I am unable to revert back to windows 7.
