Good afternoon all. New guy here. Hoping I can find some answers. I have a 2006 DF175. The last few times I’ve been out, the motor runs great but while running it loses RPM’s and won’t go over 3000. I power down the motor, wait a min and start again. It runs fine. I’ve never received a warning light or buzzer. I cleaned the neutral safety switch on the motor. Checked the fuel, filters and VST. No signs of water. Anyone have an idea? I’m thinking it’s the shift position sensor but I’m not sure how to test it other then replacing. Any ideas?
