The wire reinforced exhaust hose from the generator has deteriorated where it attaches to the thru hull, about 4 inches of the hose, the rest of the hose seems fine. Is there a way to effectively patch the hose? Replacing it would be a bear the way it is routed from the muffler up inside the hull down and out the thru hull obviously on the outside of the engine. Would something like 'Flex Tape' work?
