Hi - First post, so please let me know if I missed anything.
Im having to install a new CHX8052P throttle control which is side mounted on the Starboard side of the boat. I have a mercruiser 4.3 motor with an alpha 1 gen 1 inboard/outboard.
Should the shift cable be in the 7/8 and seven hold based on your experience?
We arent there, so I am planning to try it tomorrow, but I wanted to get some advice first.
Its hard to shift through gears when the throttle cable is on the motor and I get no movement on the drive going from forward, neutral, to reverse or back again.
