trolling speed

on my 2003 rinker captiva with a 5.0 port fuel i am having trouble getting boat to slow down to trolling speed i use the largest drift socks they make. and still going to fast. is the idle speed adjustable in gear i am around 2b miles and hour and i need to be at around one
