I've been chasing bugs out of this motor for the last year and come up against another one that's perplexing me. I turn on the battery, move the key to the on position, all lights come on and two beeps then I turn to start and.... nothing.
I've checked the 10,15,30A fuses in the port side fuse box as well as the 150A fuse on top of it, I've disabled the kill switch shutdown and I've tried to all but eliminate the neutral position kill switch (though I'm not 100% that I've actually succeeded in this step).
When the key is turned I can hear something mechanical happening in the engine (fuel pump?) so I believe there is a signal being sent from the ignition back to the engine but nothing is cranking or turning over or trying to start.
I've charged both batteries, cleaned contacts, etc. I installed a new A/B/All switch recently but have run the boat several times since then (not sure if that matters).
What haven't I checked or what should I do next?
