Need help identifying Mariner Engine year/model/etc.

Hey guys, need help identifying what year may Mariner engine is. The serial number is 09789707 however, I am getting no luck pulling this up online.

4-HP Serial Number Range 09710000 - 09792524 = 1993

If it's a 4-HP, The Model Number is 7004201BB 'Which comes up as an MARINER BELGIUM 4 MH

Apologies! It is in fact a 4 HP engine. Thanks for letting me know the year!

If I may ask, what resource did you use to figure out the info?
 
HI looking for some information on my Mariner, secretly a Japanese built Yamaha? It's a 40E, so I know it's electric start and L for Longshaftt, serial is 411665, looking for year, it needs an impeller. Also if anyone has any idea what the gap is on the spark plugs that would be awesome, any and all help is appreciated thanzk in advance.

hi i hav a 40hp oil injector mariner engine .1 spark plug has a spark the other 3 have no spark .what can i do fix this problim??.

hi my engine was running well .for no aparent reason it would not start .the engin is turning over when the key is turned but it will not start ,is there a simple way to find out or any thing i could check?.
