Engine: choices are straight 30 weight, 20W50 or 25W40

Intermediate housing (Behind engine) - 80W90 Weight gear oil - any decent one for marine use, or any good outdrive oil your local place sells like Mercruiser/Quicksilver high perf gear lube

Drive Upper gear box: 80W90 Weight Gear oil- any decent one for marine use, or any good outdrive oil your local place sells like Mercruiser/Quicksilver high perf gear lube

Lower Unit: If you're sure it's a 1978, then 80W90 Weight Gear oil- any decent one for marine use, or any good outdrive oil your local place sells like Mercruiser/Quicksilver high perf gear lube

If there's any chance it's a 1977 which would be electric shift, then the lower unit specifically requires "Type C" oil. If in doubt, just put type C in the lower because type C is fine for 1978 as well. In fact you can put type C in every compartment except the engine if you want

Tilt Clutch Housing- engine oil or gear oil - any listed above fine or pack with grease if leaking badly
