Recoating Glass Mat Floor and Inside of Hull -- What Material to Use?

I am in the process of replacing the gas tank on my 1969 Hydroswift and want to coat the floor and the inside of the hull with something to freshen it up. All of the exposed surface is glass mat and seems to be well sealed and sound. It's dirty though, so I would like to get it all tight before I put a new tank in.

Any recommendations of a material to use? Some of the glass floor seems untouched in 50 years, but the white areas were coated with something, either at the factory, or after. The sump has a similar treatment.

Ok -- I can 't edit my post -- I think the idea was to prime and paint. I am considering an oil-based primer and paint. Although the floor of the hull is included in this plan, it won't actually be the finish of the floor.
