10sec Beep on engine start

Hey,
I recently have this issue on my 200hp etec Evinrude engine where a 10sec beep is going off when I start the engine. I can't read the gauges because the sun has damaged the plastic. The battery has been recently replaced so it should be fine on this side. Has anyone had this issue in the past ?

Not sure on the warning. If you connect the engine to EVDIAG software it will tell you everything. If you don't have access that software, go to O'Reilly Auto and get a headlight restoration kit. Use that system on the lens of the faded gauges and you'll be able to see everything again. Be extremely careful with those rubber buttons because the drill could knock them off. You might have to resort to doing them by hand but it may still be fine.

Try throwing it on a charger overnight and then see if it still alarms. Low voltage after startup possibly?

Thanks for the advice guys , I don't have that software unfortunately so I got in touch with a company near by who has it and will help me out. I'll go there tomorrow, I'll keep you posted
