Buzzer on 1988 Mercury XR 2

Just pull boat out of garage and hooked up water hose to lower unit. The buzzer went 3 or 4 beeps to let you know warning system workd. Crank motor up and now buzzer continues to beep about every 2 seconds. Water is flowing good from pee hole and can keep hand under flow of water ( not real hot). Main oil tank is 3/4 full and tank on motor is full. New oil tank cap put on due to other one had a crack in it. New water pump 2 years ago. Primer bubble isnt holding a tight prime when pumping up tight. Any help in the next direction to go would be appreciated.

"Primer bubble......" sounds like the check valve that stops the reverse flow isn't sealing, you may need a new fuel bulb or line.

Replaced primer bubble still buzzer making noise

What happened, is it working properly now?

The original poster has not been on here for 3 years.-----Likely is enjoying a new boat / motor today.
