1.2 1989 Evinrude Junior

I was fixing my old evinrude junior and i cleaned everything out and got it running but i had to take the gas tank cap of because the manual vent won't unscrew and everywhere i look i can't find any available i don't know if there are any replacements that work similar to the factory cap or any solutions.
 
Try Tim's Outboard in Hackensack MN, if that doesn't work. 218 682 2331. Have model # ready. Some other OMC caps may work. It's probably the same as the 2 hp also. I have used caps off those old stupid "oil injection" 6 gallon tanks, might be same thread, but you need to engineer a vent.
