I am helping a friend get to the bottom of several electrical issues on his boats Volvo Penta KAD32 installation.
These are the faults:
1. No Supercharger
2. Intermittent Trim of leg
3. RPM not always right
4. Oil pressure gauge reads zero
So far Supercharger clutch, relay, position switch and speed sensor have been changed. The DGC unit has been changed. The oil gauge and sender have been changed.
We have Workshop Manual Electrical system Wiring diagrams B 2(0) for 31, 32, 41, 42, 43,44, 300 series. But this does not cover the use of DGC unit.
Has anyone got a manual or drawings for DGC unit? part number is 874488
Or
Does anyone know or have any ideas on why perhaps these faults are perhaps as a result of one fault?
Supercharger spins, clutch works, positive voltage there, but negative not switching. Starter perfect. Can't find any ground wires adrift or high resistance.
Any help appreciated.
Thank you
Simon
