Power trim issues

I have a 2003 75H Mercury outboard. The power trim work great with the switch on the motor, but the switch on the control lever at the console does not let me bring the motor up. I can lower the motor there but not raise it. Any ideas? It worked last year then just stopped working mid season. I have not tried anything yet. Thanks,
 
you can try CRC electronics Cleaner (spray) on the switch....or check the solenoid....

Best to troubleshoot the issue so you can get it done right the first time....
