The gear shifter has become increasingly stiff to the point of not wanting to force it. I have greased every nipple I see and still the shifter is way to stiff. Thanks for suggestions... SeaScene

Funny, no-one answers anything on this blog. Maybe because there isn't many Suzuki owners or mechanics.

Here is what I would do... remove the gear case and see if the shift shaft in the foot moves up and down easily. Then you could at least isolate it...if it does move well then investigate the other areas. Iboats has better breakdowns of the parts for suzuki motors. Good luck.
