torque specs 91 25hp

Hey there,
Could anyone advise as to the correct torque specs for a head gasket on a 1991 evinrude 25 hp model e25eleid?
Also, torque specs for the water head?

Welcome Matt. Go 18 to 20 foot pounds, no gasket dressing. Clean threads with wire brush, torque in gradual steps from center bolts and rotating out to end bolts. LIGHTLY anti-seize threads to replace lost zinc coating that was originally on the bolts when they were new. To convert to INCH pounds, simply multiply by 12, eh?

If they are 1/4" screws use 60 / 80 inch lbs.-----If they are #10-24 use 55 / 60 inch lbs.

I had a 3/8 click torque wrench set at 63 lbs and the 1/4 NC stainless bolt snapped

Set at inch lbs ???----Or ft-lbs ?
