I noticed the other day that when I spin my prop by hand (Tempest plus 22P) you can hear a “grinding” noise. After taking my prop off and inspecting it appears to be the white plastic piece (prop bore sleeve?) is loose and is shifting when I rotate the prop. I’ve read of other guys simply taking theirs out and running without them. Others have replaced them and yet others have simply bent the tabs back out and put them back in place. What is everyone’s recommendation? Replace? Run without it? Should I clean out the area where the sleeve sits and does this area require any kind of grease or lubrications? Thank you in advance.
