6.0 Litre Captains choice

Hello all,
Question? I have looked high and low to determine what enigin Crusader used for their 2005 6.0 Captains choice? Was it an LS2, LQ4-9? I bore scoped the piston heads and they looked dished not flat topped so what I can find is they used these on the LQ4? And how did they sqeeze 375hp out of these engines?

There are some engine officinato's out there and I'm not one of them. Any information would be great
 
easiest way to an accurate answer is to call Crusader directly....like most OEMs, their bread and butter products are based on GM's standard production offerings...next best approach (and one to validate any answer they provide) is to look for the block casting numbers and do a www search...a good machine shop should also be able to map the block number into the GM build type.

As far as the HP ratings, you will find that they are rated at a much higher RPM than the predecessors...usually well over 5000 RPM...
