Happy Easter everyone,
My 2007 Yahama 115hp with approx 600 hours has been making this noise (see video below) for months. The engine works well, and I brought it to 3 different mechanics who replaced the low pressure fuel pump, the belt tensioner, and the o-ring of the injectors respectively, claiming that those components were the reasons for the sound. Unfortunately all three were wrong.
The engine works fine, but I’m still worried about the noise. Has anyone encountered this issue before? Also, the noise comes and goes.. it doesn’t happen all the time and sometimes just by turning the engine off it goes away. I am puzzled.
