    Default Remote Control Stiff

2005 Triton aluminum V hull with Johnson (Suzuki) 140.
I am unable to identify the make of the remote control, but have pictures. I have loosened the carpeted plate with the control from the side location, however I cannot see how to remove five screws holding the control to that plate. The heads are behind the cover behind the lever and I don't see how to remove that cover.
Trying to post two pics, but I don't think it worked. Couldn't find instructions in search

from what I recall, you need five posts BEFORE you can add an image...I'd suggest adding some 'dummy' posts in the section where you can practice...go to the forum home page and scroll down to the bottom...
