"What are the advantages and disadvantages in repairing, performance,fuel useage given the same HP. Can a crossflow powerhead fit in place of a looper ? How do I idenify one from the other?"
 
Crossflow and looper do NOT in

Crossflow and looper do NOT interchange. The loopers do not have bypass covers.The internal parts are bigger/stronger on the loopers.
