Drain plug leaking

Hi, I hope you can understand what I'm trying to say in this post. So the drain plug on my boat is leaking water, do you have any suggestions on what to do. Or is it just the best idea to buy a new one.

If the style of the plug permits, I'd try tightening it up first...if it still leaks, I'd replace the plug...
