440 Valves

I have a 440 in a Century Coronado that needs an upper rebuild and I am looking to find the best valves to use as well as the size. I was planning to stick with the stock size but if anyone thinks different please let me know. Ferrea does not make marine valves and told me that I need to use a super alloy valve because of the quenching caused by the wet exhaust. Any input would be appreciated!
 
Ayuh,.... Are you havin' the heads rebuilt at a machine shop,..??

If so, ask yer machinist,..... He'll know how big you can go, 'n where to get alloy valves,.....

In SBCs, we run inconel exhaust valves,....
It ain't a wet environment problem, it's a sustained high torque/ heat situation,....
