Water in oil 1999 Evinrude 70 hp need help

A 4 stroke I think.----Built by SUZUKI.--Install a seal kit.----Or have your local shop pressure test it to find the leak.
 
Sorry----- I thought water in the gear oil.----Water in engine oil is a different problem.----See a Suzuki dealer.
 
No , if that's happening, u got a problem.
Now u didn't answer my question. What does motor oil look like ? Or are u saying water has pushed out all oil ?
 
All the oil was pushed out the dip stick. I don't recall it being milky. Before this happened I had lost pressure in the fuel bulb and had to keep pumping the bulb to keep it running.
 
You can drain the oil , pull off oil filter and let it drain real good. Pour some oil in filter let set , then drain again ( we don't do this) but can be done. Put oil filter back on and fill to correct oil level. Run motor for 2mins. Then check oil level on dipstick. Note were it's at. Crank motor and let run for 10 mins or so. Then recheck oil level on dipstick.
When u first drain oil ( it's hard to smell, but u can smell a little gas)
Oh yea u don't have to buy a new fuel pump $100 and something.
There is a rebuild kit for like $18.00.
