Tohatsu EFI vs Carb

I'm considering buying a new Tohatsu 20 hp EFI and am looking for any opinions from people that have bought them vs their old carburator model?

The MFS9.9/15/20E is a good build. One thing I have noticed is that they require 3 pulls to start cold: one for charging the electrics, next to pressurize the fuel, and generally start on the 3rd pull. Of course on a quick restart, they start first pull. No carb to clean, just drain the vapor separator for storage.

Do you need to run the EFI models dry of fuel after use if you use it frequently?

I use the engine at least every other day, and I won't be storing it (I live in So Cal and will be using it year-round). So my question is mainly about running the engine out of fuel after each use.
