Evinrude 155 E155WTl idle issue

I have an evinrude 155 E155WTl that starts but will only idle or run for 30 sec to at most 10-15 min then dies.
It has new spark packs and stator.
Any recommendations or where to star looking?

First thing to check is the compression.

Compression checks good on all cylinders and are close to each.

Pump the primer bulb and see if you can keep it running.

If compression is good the next thing you should do is check that every cylinder has spark. (Assuming your engine is a v4) The way I do it is get the engine warm and then disconnect 3 out of the 4 spark plug wires, WITH THE ENGINE OFF. Then crank. If the engine does ANYTHING other than crank that cyl has spark. Do not do this test with the engine cold. It will be harder to notice.

test every cyl, if that cyl has spark it will make that engine do something. It might run it might sputter then stall it will do something.

if they all have spark check if there is any fuel restriction issues
