Eco question

I have a 2003 sea ray sundeck 220. Purchased with a 5.0 vortec efi. It needs a new shortblock. If I go with a 5.7 longblock, will the 5.0 ecm work. I was told I might have to have it reprogrammed.

You will definitely have to remap the ecm....

that would be a good upgrade from a 5.0 to 5.7 you should gain about 40 hp
