The factory manual says the impedance should be close to zero for spark plug wire resistance. I have the molded silicone style plug wires which measure around 335 OHMs despite being around only 6" long. I bought a new OEM Evinrude coil the other day which came with a solid core wire. I measured the resistance on it and the resistance was very close to zero. Should I get rid of those other wires and run all solid core?
