Had a 100 hour service by local Mercury shop. On startup, ran very rough and would die within a few secends after put in gear. After checking all the usual external fuel fittings we pulled the top off and the entire cowling up to about 1" fo the top was full of gas. we were afraid to try and start it and got a tow the 1000 yards to the dock. Next day we take the top off, pump the squeeze bulp and see fuel going into the filter container but no leaks. When we start the engine, fuel start filling up the lower cowling, but we see no obvious leaks.
Clearly the mechanic forgot something, any idea as to what?

Welcome......you could have come in with a BANG! Lucky she didn't blow up. Can't you call the shop and ask them what they did wrong?
