I have a question for the tohatsu gurus .
I have a 2009 md50b , problem I’m have is the engine threw a code for air injector number 3 failure . Well when the engine is running with the cowl off I can see the # 3 air injector moving forward and aft creating a “knock” noise. When this happens the motor has reduced power and goes into limp mode . Here’s what I’ve found , when I shim the injector from moving the motor runs like a top , so I don’t think the injector is bad I think a bushing or something went out on that injector .
does anyone have any info on these air injectors and how their held in place .?
