Hey Boscoe...You out there? You helped me on a thread recently and provided some diagrams on my harness adaptor. (Disconnecting the grey wire.) Anyway, glad we caught that. But it's still not accelerating.

I noticed this morning that someone put in BR9 plugs versus BR8. Could that be enough to cause it to bog? The plug are oily. Could the heat range make that much of a difference?

Doubt it.----How did the motor run for you last year ??------Post compression numbers.-------And check for STRONG spark on each lead.-----Good spark will jump a gap of 3/8" ( 1 cm ) or more.-----Motor may well be running on 3 of 4 cylinders.---

I don't see those two plugs having anything to do with the motor bogging down.

Have you tried misting a bit of gasoline into the air intake when the bogging starts to see what might happen? If the motor picks up and runs it is more than likely an issue within the carburetors.
