I have a 24 foot party barge with a 40 horse Mercury. I’m looking to replace with a new 115 . The question is do these require a hydraulic steering system? I can buy new cable system for $300 but not sure if I need hydraulic. Also when looking into hydraulic this site I have to know the part number or Serial number of the motor, but I haven’t bought the motor yet just want to check on prices for hydraulic steering systems
