The top of my gas tank is approx 6 inches lower than my f50 yamaha and I want to add a fuel/water separator. I will have to mount this filter where the fuel will have to travel up about 4 more inches through the filter and then back down to the motor. Would this higher routing put additional stress on the fuel pump? <br><br>
