Installing Transom Saver on Bayliner Trailer

This, I believe, is the original "Escort" trailer for my 1985 Bayliner Capri Cuddy boat. I found a "SeaSense" transom saver online, and later realized that the trailer axle is about 6 feet away from the outboard motor. After consulting with a local boat shop in Arizona, I decided to fabricate a support beam for the transom saver. I got some aluminum square bar and some steel channel bar from a metal yard and fabricated the support beam. I was also told by the boat mechanic that installing a "roller" on the beam might help to mount the transom saver. I actually bolted the assembly right to the support beam. I used grade 5 1/4"x20, 5/16" and 3/8" bolts for the installation. I hope it will make it o.k. to the lake.
