What size bolts?

Replacing the manifolds on my 5.7. I want to use new bolts. I know they are grade 5, 5"... But... 3/8, 1/2?... thread? Can anyone help? I could buy the mounting kit which includes them, but I already have the gaskets.<br><br>Thanks in advance.
 
Just take one to the hardware store and match them up. Good call on replacing them, I tried once to reuse the bolts and had two snap off before I even started to torque them.
 
Use Grade #8 bolts. They will be less likely to snap off in the event of rust/corrosion down the road.

Make dang sure that the bolts will not bottom out prior to fully clamping the manifold to the cylinder head.
If questionable, you can either shorten them, or shim the bolt heads with grade #8 SAE washers.

Coat the threads with a good Automotive Never-Seez or Anti-Seize product.... not the Marine Anti-Seize.
