Hi y'all
I've been tearing down the carbs in a 1985 Merc 175-v6, SN: 0a125187. The carburetor set is stamped wh-30, 1-2-3. I noticed there are no vent bowl jets installed by whomever worked on this last. Unfortunately, I cannot find too much information about the wh-30 carburetor, the manual lists up to wh-29. Presently, main jets are all .064 and the idles are all .070.
I originally took the carbs apart trying to solve starting problems and idle problems. Once the motor is warm it starts fine. Idle too long and it bogs and stutters and then doesn't like to start. A little too much prime bulb delays starting noticeably. Rest of RPM range is fine- gets to 5500 without a bump and cruises great.
