What oil pan is this?

I can't figure out what mercruiser engine this oil pan is for, it's a very heavy gauge cast iron, not stamped. with some provision for something to attach on the side.

I've never seen a cast iron oil pan on a standard production marine engine...and I can't believe the performance variants would add that much weight...

Put a magnet to it to see if it isn't aluminum....
