I bought aused boat with a 1986 nissan ns70-a motor. took to lake and it ran great for about 4 or 5 minutes. then bogged down. got back to marina and top cylinder was not firing. after it cools off it will fire again for a short distance. took to boat shop and they would not work on it because its so old,
 
The boat shop that would not work on it told me to try a cd module.. Is the pulser coil available anywhere? I've looked on line for days and can't find one. Thanks billy
 
Test first.

I have a 1992 NS70A2 - similar problems. Good old motor ran perfect for 5 years.

Just curious did you ever get things worked out?
