Yamaha 25 static flush

I have not used the static flush before on my new Yamaha engine and will need to do this before the winter layup. I understand this is best done with the motor hot but as my pontoon is a drying berth it is more convenient for me to flush the engine with it tilted. I assume that is ok as the bottom is still well below the powerhead. Is this ok?

Never heard of "static flush", but I believe you're referring to using the engine's flush hose attachment. If so, this flush method is not conducted with the engine running so it doesn't matter if the LU is submerged or not. However, it's suggested when using the flush attachment method that you tilt the engine all the way to also incorporate gravity assist.
