1999 Johnson 90 J90PLEEB Hour meter?

Is there a way to install a hour meter on an old outboard? 1999 Johnson 90hp 2 stroke J90PLEEB... Just curious. Wanted to get more accurate usage and service numbers. Thank you.

Sure, they just connect to an ignition switch wire that is "hot" when the key is on and a ground wire. Such wires are usually provided for powering accessories such as a tachometer.
