Hello
completely new to outboard motors and boating in general
I’m the dumb ass that buys a boat without hearing the motor run.
simply took the owners word that it ran and only neede minimal work.
so far have rebuilt carbs and changed coils
motor will run on cylinders 1 and 4. Please help with any suggestions or experience you may have with this problem.
my budget is such that I really can’t afford to bring to dealer. Also my pride is at stake as I keep beating myself up over buying without more research. This is something that I never do. Both the boat and motor look brand new were owned by one person since new thanks
